FFT Spectrogram Music Player
Support & Information
About the App
Experience your music like never before! The FFT Spectrogram Music Player combines a convenient local audio player with professional real-time audio analysis right on your device.
Thanks to state-of-the-art digital signal processing (DSP) and our unique "Multi-Resolution Hybrid Architecture", we analyze deep basses and lightning-fast highs in separate frequency engines. The result is an impressively clear and responsive visual spectrogram – completely without annoying flickering or "smeared" bars in the bass frequencies.
Key Features at a Glance:
- Professional FFT Visualization: A high-precision graphical representation of your audio signals, calculated and rendered at a smooth 60 to 120 frames per second.
- Local Playback: Listen to your own music files in the highest quality. The app accesses your local storage directly – without forced cloud usage or streaming subscriptions.
- Live Microphone Mode: Visualize ambient sound! Use the built-in microphone to visually display concerts, conversations, or external speakers on your screen.
- Smart Sync Slider: Compensate for Bluetooth headphone latency or the physical calculation times of audio analysis with a simple swipe, ensuring music and visuals always match perfectly.
- 100% Privacy: Your audio data and microphone signals are processed exclusively live on your device and are never stored or uploaded to the internet.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
How do I use the synchronization slider?
The slider helps you align the displayed image exactly with the sound you hear:
Left side (Delay Audio): Ideal for compensating for the
high precision of the bass calculation (which takes a fraction of a second for technical reasons).
The sound waits for the image.
Right side (Delay Visuals): Perfect if you use wireless Bluetooth headphones. Here,
the app artificially holds back the image until the audio signal reaches your ear via the wireless
connection.
Why does the app need microphone access?
Microphone access is only required for the "Ambient Sound Mode". If you activate this, the app "listens" to the surrounding noise and translates it into the visual spectrogram. No recordings are made at any time.
